Craft’d, located near Lincoln Highway, excites customers with exquisite music, cuisine, and service.
Craft’d was jammed tight on a Saturday night with many people waiting in the outside area to be seated at a table while a live band played, and the football game was on every screen. The menu had a wide variety of smokehouse foods such as their well-known smoked meats, giant pretzel, cocktails, and much more.
Along with the food, they are known for giving enormous portions, so buying a meal is worth the price. Craft’d also offers a doggie menu where people can bring their dogs and sit outside on the patio, enjoying the food and the weather.
My family and I were placed right next to the live music, which made it hard to converse during our meal, but the music was very nice and added a family vibe to the restaurant.
I decided to try the Craft’d Mac N’ Cheese, which included a ginormous plate of the five cheese white sauce blended with buffalo sauce, topped with shredded pulled pork, chopped bacon, bread crumbs, chives, and a garlic buttered breadstick on the side. The mac and cheese was very creamy, but I did not taste a lot of the buffalo sauce, which was disappointing. The pulled pork and bacon added a nice smoky flavour to the mac and cheese, which helped with the non-existent buffalo sauce.
The breadstick was nice and buttery with a lot of garlic, which I really enjoyed, and it paired perfectly with the mac and cheese. Alongside the mac and cheese, I ordered their well-known giant smokehouse pretzel. The pretzel was humongous, super soft, buttery, and salted perfectly. The pretzel came with a large cup of spicy cheese sauce on the side. The cheese sauce was flavourful and did not disappoint with a large amount of paprika, multiple different cheeses, and a few other seasonings. The two combined were an exciting mix of flavours.
The service was also exquisite. The waiter was very kind and joked around with my family about how the pretzel was bigger than we had anticipated. He always made sure to check up on us and provide us with the many refills we needed.
Overall, I would rate Craft’d’s remarkable food, service, and live music a 5/5 stars.
