7-Brew, growing rapidly around the states, may be the new alternative to the infamous Starbucks.
According to a LinkedIn post, “7 Brew holds the title of the fastest-growing coffee chain in the United States by percentage, while Starbucks remains the dominant market leader by raw volume.”
7-Brew has a large variety of energy drinks, coffees, smoothies, teas, lemonades, sodas, and their own original drinks.
I decided to try “Summer Breeze”, which is one of their 7 energy drinks. This includes a mix of banana, passionfruit, and peach extract. I also tried one of their originals, “Banana Bread”, which is a banana and hazelnut coffee.
The “Summer Breeze” energy drink was my favorite of the two drinks I ordered. It tasted almost identical to the White Peach Red Bull energy drink. It is refreshing but also sweet, tangy, and super smooth. The flavor isn’t too overwhelming and is balanced amazingly without taking away from any of the flavors. The banana flavor is very light but still prominent enough so you can taste it. This drink is so addictive, and I will definitely become a regular.
The “Banana Bread” coffee is a rich mocha mixed signature espresso that includes equal parts banana and hazelnut syrups. This was such a unique and phenomenal coffee. It wasn’t too sweet and too chocolatey. It’s got a cozy blend of banana, cinnamon, and brown sugar, with a smooth hazelnut twist and a creamy base that allows the drink to not be too sweet but still maintain that extraordinary flavor.
Originally, each drink would’ve been about $5.25 for the 7-energy and $6.18 for the original coffee, but 7-Brew sent out to almost everyone a booklet in the mail of free coupons, which allowed me to get a couple of free drinks and also some for 50% off all drinks.
These two drinks offer completely different vibes: one cozy and perfect for the cold, and the other for the sunny summer. Overall, these drinks were both 5/5 stars for me, and for their greater variety of drink options, I think they beat Starbucks, and I will definitely be repurchasing them, along with trying their many other variations of drinks.
