The girl’s dance team advances to state after a spectacular performance at sectionals this past weekend.
“We were humble going into sectionals, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I am so proud of this team and cannot wait to compete,” Head Coach, Becca Vicker said.
The team placed 5th at sectionals after working hard all season perfecting their routine. They placed higher than teams they have not beaten all season and are ecstatic to perform at state.
“We worked hard and it definitely wasn’t easy to make it. We’re really excited and can’t wait to perform on the state floor” Emma Konow, junior, said.
The team heads down to Bloomington this Friday to compete, if they place top twelve on the first day of state they will continue on to day two of competition.
“I’m so proud of this team and all that we’ve overcome this season,” Evelyn Minott, junior, said.
