Maybe it’s a family member, maybe it’s a friend, either way, a conversation is brought up every year around the fall season or Halloween on whether sugary candy is overall better than chocolate candies.

There’s a reason why nobody walks around snacking on chocolate chips or candy bars.I see kids asking for Jolly Ranchers or Sour Patch kids not just because they’re better than chocolates but their prices are becoming cheaper than chocolate brands and more readily available.

Part of the rising prices is due to the recent inflation in the United States and the limited options available for chocolate.

Some of these chocolates also have higher saturated fat and fructose intake making them less healthy in some circumstances according to www.healthline.com.

Eating too much of it can lead to extreme caffeine-related symptoms like a faster heartbeat, nervousness, and sleeplessness.

Meanwhile, customers can choose from a large selection of candy that includes quicker sugar breakdowns, chewy kinds like Starbursts and Skittles or softer candies like Lifesaver Gummies and AirHeads. Or a sour flavor or treats with sprinkles instead of just chocolate.

Another aspect of enjoying non-chocolate candy is that chocolate sometimes comes with just one singular piece of chocolate.

With candies, almost all come in a box of candy that can have a customer coming back for more and more and the customer can reseal their packages/boxes whenever they like.

Candies should be rated overall better than chocolate sweets due to availability, prices, tastes, variety, and much more as there are just too many better flavors than milk or dark chocolate.

Trick-or-treaters should be excited over new and old candies that provide a big enough sugar rush to fulfill them this Halloween and not boring chocolate.
