Thunderbolts is a new and exciting new Marvel movie that brings something different to the superhero world. It follows a group of former villains turned anti-heroes who are brought together by the government for a dangerous mission. They don’t trust each other when they first meet and have clashing personalities, but they’re evidently forced to work as a team. Unlike many other Marvel movies, Thunderbolts has a darker and more serious tone. It focuses more on the characters’ struggles and their journey toward redemption. One of the best parts of the movie is the evolution of the main characters’ relationship throughout the film. Their conversations and interactions add both emotion and humor, helping display a real life feeling to the film that allows the audience to connect with them. The action scenes are intense and exciting without being overdone and taking away from the plot. They’re well-paced and help push the story along. The visual effects are great. The actors also give strong performances, showing real emotion and making their characters feel real and relatable. What really ties the movie together is how it balances action with character development. The film gives us a look into each character’s past and personal struggles. Helping the audience understand the characters choices and makes the story deeper and more meaningful. While it was very enjoyable, a few scenes felt a bit rushed, and some characters didn’t get enough time to share their story. A little more backstory would have also made the movie even stronger and give insight into some of the actions done. Still, these are small issues in what was overall an entertaining film. I gave the movie a 4 out of 5. Thunderbolts gives Marvel fans something new. It’s not just about saving the world—it’s about broken people trying to become better. With its mix of action, emotion, and humor, it’s definitely worth watching and a great step in a new direction for the Marvel universe.
